Update. I completely unpluged the VSS and my car wont even throw the code for it.... its a 99 ls.

Yo tr. my speed sensor was working yesterday and i replace an ac hose near it and i unplugged the speed sensor to get to it. hot water poured onto and it stopped working. i went and got another speed sensor and replace it and my speedo still doesnt work. Anyone know y? Please help me out. thanx.
