Default My 2 cents!!

Wow, lots of great views.

I can remember hanging out at the marina parking lot on the Tampa side of the bridge back around 1987. The good old days when people had to wait to race on the bridge and all of the races were for at least $20. The lot was as full as any lot is now.

The lot was full of many 'clicks' Ford guys, Chevy guys etc. There was also those out there who were just out to watch and hang. Also you always had those hard core street racers out who looked like they just finished installing there motor. It was never boring and the cops were just as harasing as they are now.

Times change but the type of people who attend the late night events at and around the bridge are the same. you have those out to race, those out to hang with thier friends and those who are just out to be stupid and make trouble. Times have changed and so have the cars. If your car is fast it doesn't matter what the name plate says. All that matters is what the time slip says.

I build old school v-8's because that is what I know how to make fast. If you like fuel injection or turbos that's your biz. I guess there will always be something to differenentiate groups from one another and there will always be jerkoffs who cause most of the trouble.
