According to the Diamond website, the lug nuts for those wheels should be 60 degree taper. Curious what the ones are that were used.

Another possibility is that incorrect ones were used in the past... who knows? Used race wheels are bought and sold all the time. It might be a good idea for anyone buying used wheels to at least dye test the lug hole area for any fractures/cracks. Certainly food for thought..
