Very true, no matter how vociferously the 2.0 turbo guys argue otherwise. That's why it's great to see cars like the 03 Cobra, a car that combines some of the newer technology with muscle-car displacement. Now if only they had sent it out of the factory with a single turbo or at least a twin turbo setup instead of that blower...

As far as old school/new school, domestic/import goes, I can't really take a side. The only reason I'm driving a semi-import right now is because I liked the awd drivetrain and more importantly the turbocharged engine, for cheap. If I'd had more money flow, I might be driving a twin turbo 5.0 fox body mustang instead. I get the same satisfaction from watching a drift video with a built hachi-roku wringing it's engine out to 9000 rpm as I do watching a vid like that street racing vid with the 427 Camaro flexing on a choice road in pensacola. (Though the v8's will always have the advantage when it comes to sounding bad-ass).
