That happened to me with my 2 10'' Boston's. sounded nice and tight in my truck but when i put them in a ported box in my wifes trunk i had to get another battery. Soooo putting them in a different box will suddenly require you to put in another battery? How does this work?
As far as I remember, you draw the same amount of power through the amp to drive the woofers, but the ported box changes the air dynamics.
Someone please explain how changing air dynamics requires you to get another battery?!!?
