Yes, JL gets advertised for unauthorized sale on the internet. No one ever said it wasn't. That is because there is a huge demand for it. People actually ask for it by name. If there is a demand, there will always inevitably be supply. When you have a number one brand name, it will make it to the internet. But, click on the W7's at woofersetc or sonicelectronix, buy it, then wait about 48 hours for an email offering you a comparable product-since the W7's are inevitably on back order-like most all of their unauthorized items. Don't worry, you can elect for them to just give you a refund-after you jump through about 10 hoops. You'll get your money back-eventually
And any ARC stuff you find online is old, or you will get the same scenario that was mentioned above. How long have you been in this business? This transshipping stuff has been gone over only a million times in professional circles. I am suprised you don't know how it works. Anyone in this field who has worked in reputable shops with reputable and protected brands is well aware of this scam and how harmful it is to the overall industry.
And all professional industry magazines have at least a story or two about this in every edition. It is discussed at every professional training or road show that any company or manufacturer has ever invited us to. I have piles of notes from these sessions-it is about the hottest topic for manu's and shops these days.
But, I am sure you will continue to argue with those of us who have been around here for MANY years before your shop was even established. We are well respected by members here, our peers, manufacturers, and other established shops in this area and beyond. TR members are smart enough to make choices for themselves. You forum antics are not really what professional shops like Luke's, ours, and your other neighboring shops around there take part in. This thread is not helping anyone at this point and has become pointless. Have a good one...
