Considering your wheel and tire set up weigh close to mine (which is 94lbs for just the rears) I dont think thats enough. It would be like an S2000 with even less power. Why not try the RWD QR idea you had? I know its a fair amount of work but it sounds worth it if you'd make the power you talked about a while ago.
Well an S2000 makes 200whp with less than 160tq (AP1) and it runs a 13 sec 1/4, and weighs as much as an S13. How much faster do you need to go NA? You'll have to have the gearing to mechanically boost the lower tq, but I think it'd be great. It's like my stock KA right now, but instead of dying at 5k, it'd pull for another 2k rpms and save about 80 lbs or so.
I'll probably do it because I've already got the motor, most of the parts, and it'd be cheap. Drop it in my car while I'm saving up for my turbo motor build and sell it as a dyno'd package.
