To get the belt tight, on some cars, some people loosen the tensioner,
pull the belt backwards slightly to take up the slack, then retighten the tensioner...................are we presuming that the
timing marks line up properly?-Bob

Got the car to start.... But the timing belt adjustment is all out of wack.
