So i've just come to realize that i'm a little big for a 96 Civic EX coupe. If the seat is in a racing position/more upright my head is so close to the roof you can just squeeze your hand between. With a helmet forget it the helmet is against the roof. The models with a sunroof the roof inside is lower to fit all that stuff up there. I noticed the seat rails could maybe have an inch taken off. Is that a bad idea? Are seats like Recaro or Bride lower than factory seats? My head rest even on the last notch the top is at the middle of my head. Weird I never noticed how close my head was until I put a helmet on. Obviously i'm not driving around with a helmet on but I believe they require them for drag racing or track racing.
