Your smoking crack, You must know nothing at what your talking about when it comes to diesels. Any good diesel owner knows the chevy 350 5.7 diesel was the worst concoction in diesel history.
In reality, though, you might hear of the horror stories, but there are plenty of stories of people who own these diesels that have had no issues, and are happy with there 6.0L. So, by what you hear on ps.com or FTE.com, dont assume that all 6.0 are shitty. They do the job, and if you leave them alone, give them there general maintenance they hold up quite well. And also its the 03 and 04 models that had some of the issues that are prone to the 6.0 having such a bad name. And dont think the 7.3 didnt have there normal failures such as the HPOP, hard starting and sometimes not even starting.
