The hot engine bay temps I have now are enough to make the IM hot even without the head causing the heat. So, can someone explain to me if they have personal experience with these and whether they like it or not?
From what I've read, worth it on cars with a metal intake manifold mainly because it will reduce transfer of heat from the head to the intake manifold. Phenolic composite material has very good thermal resistance, therefore when you sandwich it between two metals, the hotter metal will transfer heat to the cooler metal at a much slower pace with a phenolic composite material in between the two. The thicker the material, the better also as the rate of heat transfer will be lower. Less heat in the intake manifold, means the air is cooler going into your combustion chamber.

If I do the TGV Deletes, does that really mean I would make at least 420whp on the same dyno? I really just want peoples' experience with their deletes as well. I know there are alot more factors but I'm sure enough of you have experience to give me the info I need to make the right decision. Thanks for the help.
I ran JDM TGV deletes for a while and the opening was MUCH larger compared to stockers. You can definately tell there is air flow restrictance going into the compustion chamber with stock ones.

Honestly I don't see you making 420whp with just doing TGV deletes, maybe more like 415, but that's just my opinion.
