worse driveability? seriously? have you driven a carbed LSx based motor?

and again with the big hole in the hood...you act like there are no aftermarket hoods or cowls available, or intakes to keep the overall height down to use a stock hood...

and the new manifold selection really helps out when decent power is being made. big single planes that can flow the air while keeping the velocity where a typical LS1/6 intake will become restrictive and not have the appropriate runner lengths to be completely useful. so yea, when im looking for 10+ hp here, another 25+ hp there, i guess i just become a perfectionist.
it'd be nice if you people actually did some research before you just toss out biased opinions and pretend you know what you're talking about

So you expect me to lose 5 mpg highway, probably another 5 city, for MAYBE 10-25 HP ? Hell on MY engine for my app you are talking about definetly needing a hole in the hood, as the LS6 manifold clears by a hair, 5 mpg loss, so even at the better end of things, 25 HP, in a 2900 lb car, thats a waste of time, I dont know about calling losing gas mileage, poking things through the hood, and having something that isnt always tuned as well, which in reality an efi setup has an advantage over carb'd, is anything about perfection.
