This year the Gumball 3000 will be doing a coast-to-coast rally within the U.S. Beginning in Los Angeles, CA and ending in Miami, FL. BUT, according to the map on the route of the rally, Orlando seems to be one of the stop points before heading directly down to Miami...

So I thought, why not get a decent group to cruise out to Orlando to take part in the festivities of one the biggest automotive events in the world?!

The rally goes from May 1 - May 8, they will be arriving in Orlando from New Orleans on May 7th (Thursday) and leaving for Miami in the morning on May 8th (Friday).

The LOW-DOWN:

WHO: Anyone! Organized by yours truly

DATE: Thursday, May 7th, 2009

PLACE: Formerly Tia's Restaurant parking lot on N Dale Mabry off of I-275 (in front of Wal-Mart)


TIME: 6:00pm, heading to Orlando at 6:30pm

I think we'll be arriving at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Orlando to await the gumballers, not unless if theres another location where they're gunna be rolling in so we can see them. I still need to get an ETA of when they're supposed to roll in so I know what time we have to leave. Keep checking back for updates!
