some of you may have noticed in the events section the mentioning of the Gumball 3000. For those that do not know, the Gumball is a charity fundraiser in the forum of a LA to Miami rally with about 120 participants this year, cost of entry is just under 50k. Being a charity event several law enforcement agencies over look some of the driving habits, close some roads, and give escorts. Cars in it this year include such beasts as Bugatti Veyrons, various Lambos and Ferraris, Bentleys, anything high dollar pretty much. How it works is it's a 6-7 day rally each stop is in a nice hotel and has a wild party.

Gumball3000 route:



* May 1 - Registration, an A-list headline live performance on the Third Street Promenade, a huge car display and kick off exclusive VIP party at the Viceroy.
* May 2 - L.A. to Vegas - Start Line mid-day at the Santa Monica Pier
* May 3 - Vegas to Grand Canyon
* May 4 - Grand Canyon to Santa Fe
* May 5 - Santa Fe to Dallas
* May 6 - Dallas to New Orleans
* May 7 - New Orleans to Orlando
* May 8 - Orlando to Miami - arriving 5 PM for Car Display & Beach and Car Festival

In Florida the drivers are going to the following locations
May 7 - Orlando - Ritz Carlton Hotel
May 8 - Miami - Gansevoort Hotel


the cars will be display in Miami after the race the spot with the logo is the location of where the cars will be parked

FRIDAY 8TH - SATURDAY 9TH MAY
15:00 WEDNESDAY UNTIL 14:00 THURSDAY
Ocean Drive and 13th Street, South Beach, Miami FL
