I saw a thread recently about EVO recaros in S13/S14, and they were tall as hell. 2-3" taller than stock. Not only is the seat bottom mount, it has a thick base. Plus it's made for a sedan-style car, not a racecar like the 240sx (lol).
I have a knock off corbeau, and my head hits the roof on bigg-ish bumps if i am not careful. And I am only 5'11". I like being up high tho, I have gotten used to it. Nothing more annoying than sitting so low, you can see over the hood.
