just sayin.............seen plenty of stock h/c/i or nitroused cheap windsor small blocks make well in excess of that without sneezing.

for those of you who know nelson the old motor he had was a stock shortblock with highports, a cam, aftermarket intake, had probably seen about 200 passes on a 275 shot, I believe 6.20's in the 1/8th in a full interior coupe. then on a 76 mm turbo made 10 dyno pulls on cft's dyno in excess of 650hp and up to 720 hp before the block broke on the dyno.........(luckily the "grudal" mod somewhat held the pieces together)
Rods are the weak link... Piston's aren't great either but yeah... lol
