. And there is a reason you can find 5-speeds all day.... people like me pull them out and sell'm for scrap. If your looking for mileage your in the wrong forum
Hey Tommy, I think what my son is trying to say is he would like something with an overdrive since this is his only means of movement...He can't put an newer Aod in since the car is a 79 with a non roller carb'd 302 so a 5 speed would be the best choice..He's got alot of learning to do and although mustangs are not known for great fuel economy there are ways to make it do better with out killing the fun factor(power)
