the EF EG EK are all chassis codes based on the VIN, all USDM "EF" hondas are actually "ED" if you have a true JDM 88-91 CRX or civic its an EF

dont believe me? look at your vin, it should be JH%ED#...... i forgot what the % is, and the # is what specific ED chassis you have, the 88-89 rex, 90-91 hatch, etc

one made in japan of the exact same year and model will be JH%EF#.....
