The term you're looking for is violent crime. They outrank us in total violent crime. Also note that 'gun crime' figures often involve the most widespread cause of gundeaths - suicides.
no it was a per capita stat i got. i'll have to pull my paper out and find it. researching stuff this semester has enlightened me to alot of things. i guess you could say my blinders are a bit off now.
