I just want to say thanks to Dirt and 95cobrasvt for doing what you've done in the military and thanks to all the other vets on here..I don't want to come over as a hard ass I just have alot of issues about Somilia...The fact that this country is just running wild and getting away with the whole pirate deal and taking hostages is a bunch of BS..The scary thing is as times get rougher there will be other countries falling into the same mode..

 

I say cut off all shipments to them from everywhere. Let thier government figure out what needs to be done. Let them rob each other. I dont believe we should be the world bank nor peace keeper either. Protect what we have. If another country ask for military help, then help....at thier expense not ours.

Hillary Clinton just got on TV again and re-stated what the United States policy has ALWAYS been: The United States will not pay any kind of ransom nor deal with pirates or any other type of terrorist. period.

She didn't say anything about the individual COMPANIES within the US though.

There was another attempt on a US flagged ship again. This time, the pirates were firing RPG's at it and shooting at it....It's crew all went to the engine room and the captain steered the ship while at full speed. They eventually evaded the pirates. The same Navy ship that helped the last hijacked ship steamed to their rescue. They escaped unscathed though before the Navy arrived. I'm telling you....Sea martials is the way to go.

 

I saw the news tonight they say that its hard to cover that much ocean(about 4 times the size of Texas) I agree with the sea marshalls that be an interesting job for sure..Give me a few stingers,tows, 50 cal long gun I'm sure that will sink there rafts I like to see some A-10's make a few runs on them.............

I already have a number of guns, my family always has (AND WILL).

I spent alot of years in the military and carried a weapon almost everyday for years. If more "law abiding" citizens carried weapons there would be alot less crime and alot less repeat offenders. Of course if we brought back public hangings there would seriously be less repeat offenders.

But I am going to do my part to stimulae the ecomony. I am getting a new pump 12 gauge, .40 S & W and a optics ready AR 15. Yea tax IRS returns!
