LOL. Thank you for the fine commentary. And no I don't need a gun to feel safe. I need a gun to protect myself from the criminals that would choose to cause me harm in order to make a buck. Police react to crime, I as a citizen with the second amendment right have the right to protect myself and property from such actions.

The gun nor the bullet killed the little girl, the criminals behind it did. In an agenda to promote their political views the Times so elegantly decides to publish it and not mention the fact all parties had a nice long record and could not legally(bolded that for you to read) own a firearm. Hand guns are the number 1 weapon by a landslide in gun related homicides. Where's the motion to ban them? Hey the UK banned citizens from having weapons and look at their crime rates.....oddly way higher than ours per capita.

If you care for me to go and post hundreds of links from across our nation giving stats on fire arm deaths and how crime rates lower when citizens are allowed by law to carry concealed, I would more than likely do it for you.
