The onlything I can think of to make a KA rod knock is a bad oil-pump. And it always seems to be cyl/rod 3 that goes. Or on two spare motors I've picked up thats what happend.
on the ka i blew up a while back it slug a bearing(cly1) i rode out trying to get home and got the 2 for 1 special.2 rods out the block number 1&2.
and the no oil pressure thing is why i have an oil pressure gadge in my car now for security measures
