Default problem with air fuel ratio gauge, gauge savvy people help!

hey, i have a 1994 civic ex and i was trying to install a a/f ratio gauge.

and have a question.........

for the a/f gauge there are 4 wires,

one for the

- battery
-one that taps into the headlight
-one for the fuse box
- and finally the ecu

i have 3/4 in working order/ hooked up, i know i have the three hooked up right because when i turn the car on, the gauge gets power, but the lights are staying on the "rich" side and not moving @ all, i know it is because of the one wire that i have not configured yet . it says in the instructions to tap the wire in to the ecu, where do i tap it in to on the ecu? do i splice a wire and tap it or are their ones i should avoid?

im sorry but this is hard to explain....

any help would be appreciated.
