If you're modding a car and concerned with gas mileage, maybe you should be building a Honda?

I am building a honda .This is for my step dads car we changed the oil in the rear end on his v6 and it had a ton of shapnel in it.we happen to have a gt parts car and was thinking about using the rear end.
