I've never liked them up till I started reading up on NT01's and I've read nothing but good things with the NT05. Im mostly impressed with the price. The next cheapest tire is the dunlops which are $20 more per tire and the RE01-R's are about $35-40 more.
I would also consider the Khumo Excta XS's but I cant find any decent reviews on the tire yet.
I know AMS is running the NT05's on there Evo time attack car.
These are awesome. Bill was raving about them and some other dude had them on his car and let me drive it. similar front grip as the RT615..but not as much warm up. WAY BETTER in the rain..unlike Azenis (--.--)

I wasn't disappointed in the 555's either.. Thinking about picking up a set of the XS's when tax-returns come in.
