ya i know but here are my reasonings...
- im spending $3800 on paint alone...it will be no difference in cost to paint the hood or not to paint it
- the hood is the largest flat surface on the car. its also going to be receiving the most amount of direct sunlight and will be able to show off the pearls in the paint the most.
- even though the seibon hood is one of the best i can buy the clear on it will start to peel in like a year or two and i dont care to bother with wet sanding, buffing, and re clearing it that soon.
-their are 3 other frost white preludes in the bay area. 2 have jdm h22a swaps, 1 has a turboed h23a vtec, all 3 have carbon fiber hoods and all 3 have black housing headlights. granted my paint is going to be a very different looking white i still dont want to go to a show and have 3 other white ludes with black headlights and carbon hoods. lol
-white with carbon hoods is a little played

but i opened the seibon hood at the shop and it is FLAWLESS and looks so damn beautiful!
its a tough choice.
