So I picked up an 84 El Camino SS a few weeks ago with a bad carb and rather than just replace the carb, I did what any gearhead would do. I bought a new Edelbrock intake(non-EGR) and 600cfm Edelbrock carb along with gutting all the AIR crap and picked up new long tube headers.
So here is my question. Am I going to run into any problems getting this new carb to run since the ECM seems to play a big part in the function of the whole ignition/timing/fuel aspect of this car?
