Okay, so the question I am asking then is why? Why is changing the dis going to cause me to lose the lockup function of the TC?

Ha, yeah I will get right on that.

Anyway, thanks. I am gonna see how it goes once I get it running. Oh and Advance did match Jegs price on the MSD and they had it in stock. So I should be driving it to work next weekend assuming there are no more broken bolt issues (2 front intake bolts).
but they do have kick down cables...if he wants it to go into 1st from a low mph roll when he's in some other gear.

I don't know about all these issues with the computer and stuff.I have swpped 4 barrels and hei distributers in quite a few G bodies ( cutlass, regals ) and have never had a lock up problem or anything else.The 200r trannies and 700r trannies,as far as I know ,were the only ones to have lock up
