Hmmmmm interesting that the ECM in this old a car will run everything or nothing with no middle ground. Well at least it will clear up my wire issue under the hood.

Just put one of these in it and let it eat. lol

Actually, If you plan on changing the converter, let me know. I may have one at the shop for ya.

Ha, yeah I will get right on that.


Anyway, thanks. I am gonna see how it goes once I get it running. Oh and Advance did match Jegs price on the MSD and they had it in stock. So I should be driving it to work next weekend assuming there are no more broken bolt issues (2 front intake bolts).

I don't know about all these issues with the computer and stuff.I have swpped 4 barrels and hei distributers in quite a few G bodies ( cutlass, regals ) and have never had a lock up problem or anything else.The 200r trannies and 700r trannies,as far as I know ,were the only ones to have lock up
