Thanks for the help guys. I guess i just flooded the carbs. Let it sit for a day and it started right up when i got home today. Almost always good advice on TR that keeps me coming back even though I don't live in Florida anymore. It's hard living in an area where i don't know any other riders to help me along learning but I've always wanted a bike and took the opportunity to get one. So now it's a matter of learning the ins and out on my own. Sorry for the ramble on but been up for almost 36 hours.
