the TD05-16g compressor wheel doesnt push anymore above 20 psi... so, 23 psi is the same amount of airflow as 20 psi... except its just hotter...
thats why they have a huge FMIC and water sprayer STOCk... its necessary to support 19 psi on a 16G. they still knock at "stock" boost levels.
the small 16g is somewhat more efficient than the large 16g, but the large obviously flows a tad bit more air at the top end than the small 16g @ the same
PR. its a GREAT turbo to upgrade too: straight bolt on, stock appearing, better power over stock, doesnt require $1000 in supporting air/fuel/exhaust mods to operate... its great. Just like the Sentra SE-R Vspec is a great sport compact... for the money, and what it was built for.
i myself dont want to waste $500 on a means to an end... i just want to jump to the conclusion. and i can afford to do so cuz the supporting mods are already in place... so why not? baby steps are not my style... 14b->16G->16G large-> 17C->18g->19c->20G... why not skip the monkey business and just go for the glory and save yourself the money, the hassle, and the time?
