a good ka with my compression tester comes out to be 215 i wouldnt get anything less than 185.
if i was in ur shoes i would just rebuild the bottom end if you have someone do it. it should not be that expensive.
new head gasket,bearings,rings,check the valves
you have something wrong with your motor, your tester, or your test method. over 200 is not right.
Standard is 179 psi
Service limit is 151 psi
With max difference of 14psi
