actually, painting it the really cheap way gives you a huge advantage: It's not expensive at all, it's fun, and you get to change your car's appearance almost weekly. You can even do crazy designs or paint types/styles.

Before you go and verbally attack them, look at what they're trying to tell you.


Did you ever specify that you wanted a clean, brand-new look? You just said something "nice" for your daily driver. Doing it yourself will still look fairly nice, especially for an older car like that where the paints were usually very flat anyways.
