Seriously though, I'm surprised that they are doing this at all, considering how many thousands and thousands of employees were already laid off and probably for much less. Its nice that they are at least doing this much for them.
Plus, considering that you can no doubt get some sort of employee discount (which is the same thing as Joe Schmo from the street walking in and buying a car
) and rebates etc., you can get a real nice vehicle for very little. Its just a question of if you think its worth it to lose your job for the car (according to my roommate last year, finding a job in Detroit is
impossible) or being able to predict
when you'd lose your job.
