That's an option too, I just pulled up a quick dealer search for that price. I don't try to make money on parts. since I prefer selling them cheap and knowing where they came from then having them customer supplied. if I get stuff at least I know who to go to if parts are missing or not correct.
if there is a reputable source for STI Short blocks for that cost all the better!
but keep in mind with a 25% displacement increase some tuning will be required. but it's so common amongst the Subaru community I'm sure there is a documented "quick" soloution.
