I actually liked the 2G AWD Mitsu eclipses. They were a little heavy compared to some, but without the Lancer or STi (or WRX for that matter) on US shores, they were probably the best bang-for-buck AWD car for at the time. I agree that Mitsu has some awesome turbos, but my personal preference is for Garrett hardware...too bad they do not make anything that really fits my needs.

Most of their stuff is high power only. Garrett/TiaL combos are popping up all over the place on our cars. One guy in Tennessee had a Green equipped WRX putting 400whp+ down on a 2.0L block. Thing lagged to all hell though (did not hit peak boost until 4600RPM and peak power came at like ~6200RPM on his dyno plots). For Scoobs, IHI is a really nice, relatively affordable option. If I were running a Mitsu, I'd be going with an aggressively trimmed 16g, no question.
