thats b/c the 3.0 v6 can in the 88-92 box models. and have hardly any hope for modds. the 93-97 models came with the 2.5l v6 and this is the one you are looking for. It can handle over 300hp to the wheels in stock form. The blocks and cranks have been tested to over 800+ to the wheels! just a lil KL info. for the day
