What exactly is the 520 conversion, something to do with chain? I've seen it before on numerous forums
Lighter chain, narrower pitch. Less rotating mass + less sprung weight + bling factor. And since you have to replace your front and rear sprockets anyways, you can change your final drive ratio as well (which is what most people notice).
