I recently bought a 1991 300zx Twin Turbo and would like to fix the paint. I knew the previous owner (was a friend) and he didn't quite understand the importance of waxing and keeping the outside nice.

So now that I bought it, I'd like to fix it.

What the hell is this?


Also note the difference in color between the panels.




I tried rubbing it with a simple wax but it didn't make a dent. It's like it's stained. I plan on selling this car so if this was fixable it would be AWESOME!
