Kirk - I said simple modifications, sorry if I mixed you up. When I say simple mod's, I mean; alarm, basic aftermarket stereo system set up, tint, a slight suspension drop, and a simple exhaust for a deeper tone. (The SC300 already sounds pretty nice for a stock car) I'm pretty sure I could manage those "mods" for $2000.00, keeping in mind I can do all the work my self. But my hands wont ever touch the motor, unless its something basic (oil change, coolant lines, belts, tune up's, etc, etc)
Thanks again everyone!
And I useto own a 91 Miata, amazing cars! But no room for luggauge at all. But haveing two cars isnt a bad idea...
But not sure if its for me.
Maintenance on an SC300 is no more than on a Supra. As long as you could get your hands on a nice clean one then you have nothing to worry about. It is a VERY reliable car. If you ever decided you wanted to make some power then it will be a perfect platform as they come with the 2JZ motors which are capable of putting down up to 800rwhp
reliably on a stock bottom end.
