I love my ls/vtec. Im running a 96 ls block, pr3 pistons, arp rod bolts, all new seals & bearings in the bottom end. Im useing a 96 gsr head ferrah ss valves, 3 angle valve job, skunk2 dual sprins, titanium retainers, mild port & polish on intake side, 1st gen skunk 2 intake, header etc etc. Runs like a champ. Im just running a basemap from John Vega.

Now for the water pump & oil pump. You do need to use the gsr water pump here is a link that explains the reson bahind it. Now the oil pump can be reworked. Im running the stock ls oil pump the I reworked. I idle at 20 but, anything over 2500-3k I stay between 80-90 psi. every now & then it will spike to 95 or so psi if I punch it.
