if my block had more miles on it i would have honed it. as it was it was a low mileage motor. i used clevite bearings in the rods, but the crank bearings are the origional ls ones. i had the seperate set of rods and pistons so i KNOW i got the right sized bearings lol. it was just push the old ones out and push the new ones in. but yea....11.3:1 compression is all you really need for the street. your not gonna make any extra power with any more compression.
