If the Bazzaz setup can compensate for bigger changes, such as higher fuel injectors, porting, cams, turbos, etc... that is indeed pretty bad ass.
For the most part the PC3 and Full exh tune is sufficient, and it would make sense to retune with more drastic changes as is also needed with closed end systems... that is if I understand that stuff right.
The self tuning feature would keep it at a safe AFR since the closed loop tuner has a wideband O2 sensor. The O2 sensors in 90% of the cars/trucks on the road is a narrowband. Which means it can only see a lean or rich condition, not an actual AFR reading. The standalone I have in the Suby has a wideband built in and it can selftune. All you need to do is enter the injector size, target AFR, timing and, from what I've read, it gets pretty damn close to perfect with just a few WOT pulls. I'm sure the Bazzaz is the same way. I'm willing to bet that your average bike (full system, filter, head, and cams) will be fine with the self tuner. Unless, for some reason, it sucks.
