and as far as the gc/koni, that setup costs like ~900, so i would rather get like some real coilovers like functionform etc
What do you mean real coilovers? The Koni GC setup with Koni Race shocks is only like $700, and when you look at hondas/acuras winning autocrosses and road races they're on Koni shocks with Ground Control springs, no one uses function/form.
