Ok well my head gasket was starting to go, so I replaced it before it blew, I marked off EVERYTHING with white out, cams, timing chain, distrubtor, you name it, its marked. Everything went back on smoothly until we got to the vaccum lines underneath the intake manifold. There are about 3 vaccum lines that I'm not 100% sure of where they go. I've tried countless combinations between those 3 lines. Now there is a wistling sound that it sounds like its coming either from the where the intake manifold is bolted to the head or the actuall head. I rented a compression tester and I'm bout to check that, I mean it could be something as simple as the head bolts not being torqued down correctly right?? It wont keep an idel, it starts up fine, but maybe 1-2 seconds after start up it shakes bad, and dies out unless you play with the throttle body and that has a bad lag in that as well. Any input will be greatly appreiciated!
