the ecu is "aware" of the fan being on but it does not control it. i supose if the ecu is designed to (which i dont think it is) it COULD turn it on, but it will come on whether the ecu is there or not, therefore thats not the problem. also note that there is no temp sensor in that circuit either. will you please stop spreading misinformation?
