I don't know about that. I was leaving gainesville on Williston Rd one night a few years back, when a deputy whipped a u-turn on me for doin 10 over. I just took off, didnt even bother down shifting from 6. He chased me to the county border with full lights and sirens but he stopped at the border and I kept going to Williston. There were 4 squad cars chillin and chattin at the subway in williston when I rolled through (doin the speed limit by then) and none so much as gave me a dirty look. I should add that I was on a VERY noticeable bright yellow sport bike.

Oh, and I know an active duty trooper in this state; if I remember right, she said prior to 03 the ford police interceptor was governed to 130 due to shoddy u-joints not being rated past that. Also, she has not yet been able to break 140 with her 2006.
