I agree but I wonder how long it would take for the B3 to agree to anything like this and I wonder how many of their dollars would be thrown at Congress to get their way in the new deal.
They all showed up in their own private jets. What is that?
We went to the Pontiac dealer yesterday looking at a new G8 GT. While it is a nice car the performance side of the car failed. The salesman ... I don't know; he didn't know much about the car and really seemed beaten down about even selling it. It was like here is our Red Tag price, take it or leave it.
Then we went to the Mercedes Porsche Audi dealer and they were moving two cars off the lot through deals as we were sitting there. Their salesmen knew a lot about the cars and were doing their sales pitch but without the pressure.
Oh man they had 3 Austin Martins there, including an Advantage (it was Sold) that were just sick. They had a BMW M6 that is really nice, the price was very nice for being an 06, and the car handled like it should. I don't think he'll buy it for several reasons but he liked it way better than a car he thought he would really want (the G8 ) after driving it.
If the B3 are bailed out then they need to do some real thinking. They need to change up everything. They need to get out in the public, invite them out for test rides and show what their cars are worth.
And for heavens sake they need to quit making their economy cars quit feeling like little crossover and mini vans. Have you sat in the drivers seat aka a high chair. My legs hurt every time I have to rent one. They simply suck! You are looking down at the road in a car? What is that? And their fuel mileage? C'mon.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
