Default So I had a problem.......

Ok, about 6 months ago or so, I replaced the heads on my 95 Cobra. I took the E-7's off and put on a set which have larger valves and some port work...Generaly, they breathe much better. Unfortunatly, the car has never run properly since then. So I have not taken it to the track or to the dyno since.

Here's what it was doing:

After it would warm up, it would have a mysterious miss that only appeared when the car was under a medium-heavy load. It still made more than enough power to outrun most of the rice on the street, but it was an annoyance, and I certainly didn't feel safe taking it to the track. I thought the problem was the heads....But now I find that it's not. I was ready to switch back to the other heads. I'm glad I didn't.

Today I was driving on 275 on my way home from Busch Gardens. The wife was in the car in front of me with my daughter and her friend, and I had my son and his friend. Well, some asshat cut me off and decided to go 45 mph, so I pulled out from behind him and passed him....Then my car lost all power.....as in, it stopped running......I pulled it over to the right side, and called my wife and told her what was going on so she could turn around and get the boys while I waited for AAA. Then I called AAA.....Then I popped the hood and had a look. It all looked fine, but I could tell by the way the car was acting that it had no spark, so I looked at the coil first thinking that maybe one of the wires had come loose, but then I noticed the coil wire looked a bit odd....and this is what I found.

p.s. Sorry, but Photobucket isn't working for me right now. If I get it working, I will post the pics so you don't have to click on a link thing.
