Sebiring drivers school would only be covered if it was a state mandated course which it isn't. It's not like the Sebring course is a defensive drivers course.....it is the opposite lol. This is general to insurance, your specific insurance company has the final say though so, one company may say yeah it's ok as long as it is not a snctioned race event and another will say hell no period becuase it was on a closed track designed for racing! But generally speaking a closed course or track use is not covered.
I have wondered this as well. I assume that I take full responsibility for the cost of damages accrued from track days. I have seen two Porches first hand lose control on turn 16 at Sebring and total their cars. Pretty expensive repair job, especially the GT-3
