as for the irs etc... i have heard lots of drag based mustang guys bitch about that since it was released.... why the hell they put one hell of a motor for going straight damn fast, in a car with suspension that is biased toward turning...SVT obviously has their powertrain sorted.. two 380 plus hp motors in vehicles less than 35 k! good stuff... even the detail such as the bigger rotors in the back of the lightning, well thought out stuff.. just IRS in a cobra?!? hmm, youd think they would do that in the GT to provide for a better ride etc.... more soccer moms drive gt's than a cobra! i guess they were after the ZO6 too much!
as for car and driver, well, they can shove it...
they dont want anything to do with the average car, say a mustang, wrx, camaro, corolla or the like..

if i recall correctly the complaints about the wrx were primarily things that people could find preferential rather than overall assesments of the car.... it seems like they expect everything to have the BMW fit and finish..
funny, a stock m5 put down about 375 if i recall at mastro..
a Dinan car, with probably 20 k worth of upgrades on it, and it put down 390 or something like that! shit, if i dumped that kinda money into just about any car id considered driving under 40 k it would own an m5 like that! except it wouldnt have suede seats and headliner...
